Reta-Ann Best-Campbell posted a condolence

We were pleased that we could share in the service for Johnny Logue. He was a wonderful man and a great neighbour to Glen and his family for decades!
When we moved back to New Brunswick and stayed with Margaret, Johnny would come over in the evening, stand at the bbq while Glen grilled and have a great conversation often sharing memories of Glen's father, Jack.
May you take comfort in the thought that Johnny has been reunited with Doreen, I understand the heartache he has had since her passing.
Our condolences and thoughts are with you at this time!
Reta-Ann, Matthew and Jackson Best-Campbell

My thoughts are with you all. I met Johnny way back in 1980 and he was a sweet, kind man. One thing that was obvious from start to finish was he loved his wife and family and would do anything for them. You were blessed to have him as dad, grand dad and great granddad. Rest assured he will still be watching over you.

I have known Johnny and Doreen since 02-03. Since I got to know them both. I noticed the impact they have on minto. I have said for many years now even before they ever got sick that they were minto, I can’t think of minto with out John and Doreen. John and Doreen are minto. Minto will never be the same with these two legends gone. They should have roads named after them both going side by side to each other. Johnny road and Doreen road or statues.

Even though we know it will happen to us all, it's always a surprise to see the death notice of a friend.
My memories of Johnny are ...when he would go on trucking trips with my Dad, Tommy Barton....
...he loaned a rabbit to our daughter for 2 weeks one summer, on our vacation from Ontario.....seeing Johnny and Doreen at the Douglas Harbour breakfasts...and many other little chats.
I pray that God's peace will be with you - his family.
