Obituary of Ida McLean

Ida Mary McLean passed away at the Dr Everett Chalmers Hospital surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 11, 2016. Ida was born at home in Minto, NB she was the only girl of 9 children. She is survived by her loving husband of (49) years). Calvin, Her only child, which was the apple of her eye, Tanya (Colin), her two beloved grandchildren Teisha and Tanner. Several nieces and nephews, loving sister in laws, close friends and loving family. Ida loved spending time with family and friends. Going to Tim Hortons and sometimes playing lotto machines, she was well known for her delicious homemade Bread and loved serving people around her kitchen table. She was a loving caring person, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend always thinking of other first. To know her was to love her. Also survived by her brothers, Emery (Martha), Gerry (Dorothy), Norman (Joanne) and Emile. Predeceased by parents Telex and Obeline (Cormier) Vautour; by brothers, Eddy, Ernest, Joe and Henry. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto) with visiting Monday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral service will take place 4:00PM Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from Minto Community Chapel.
