Obituary of Gerald Joseph Caissie

The death of Gerald Joseph Caissie of Minto, NB occurred peacefully on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 with his family by his side in Mill Cove, NB. Born on Wednesday, May 12, 1937 in Bronson, NB he was the son of the late Sam and Mary Ann (Richard) Caissie. Gerald is survived by a son, Paul Caissie (Heather) of Cumberland Bay; a daughter, Bonnie Caissie (Marty) of Cumberland Bay; brother, Bob (Lorna) of Minto; sisters, Jenny Griffiths, Irene Peters (Ray) and Rena Dury all of Ontario; a grandson, Ryan; granddaughter, Britney; great grandson, Dyson; great granddaughter, Alyssa; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Gerald was predeceased by his loving wife Christina Caissie; brother, Ben Caissie and a sister, Theresa Contu. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto)with visitation on Friday from 6-8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00am Saturday, October 10 2015 from the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Donations made to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
