Obituary of Gloria Jean Jones

It is with profound sadness that the family of Gloria Jean  Jones announce her passing on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital.

Born in Minto, NB she was the daughter of the late Harold Barton and Ferne (Thompson) Kennedy.

Survived by her loving husband, Stephen Jones; sons, Jeremy Jones (Hayley) and Curtis Jones (Kayleigh); daughter, Nicole Jones (Kurt); grandchildren, Wyatt, Mackenzie and Jordan; siblings, Colleen Chretien, Elliott Barton (Gail), Brooks Barton (Marilyn) and Lori Richard (Marcel); special sister, Carmelita Smith and best friend, Tammy Lavoie; chosen son, Connor Bostick; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was predeceased by fathers, Harold Barton and Ronald Kennedy; brother Dwain Barton; infant brother, Dwight; special fur baby, JoJo.

A graveside service will take place 1:00PM Sunday, August 22, 2021 from Redbank United Church Cemetery, Chipman, NB. For those who wish, donations made to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
