Obituary of Darlene Joy Moorhead

To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world. One of Gods greatest blessings was a beautiful sister and an awesome aunt like you. The family of Darlene Joy Moorhead announce her passing on May 6, 2021 with family by her side. Darlene was predeceased in death by her parents, Jim and Janet Moorhead. Darlene was born September 12, 1958 in Kenora, Ontario.

She is survived by her sister, Charlene (Norm) McTaggart; nephew, Todd Jennings; niece, Victoria Reid; several aunts, uncles, cousins & friends. Darlene graduated from Humber College Nursing Program in 1987. She nursed for many years. She loved her family more than anything as well as the family fur babies.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the W. G. Bishop Nursing Home for the excellent care given to Darlene.

As in keeping with Darlene’s wishes a graveside service will take place at a later date. For those who wish, donations made to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
