Obituary of Papa Frank Joseph Maston

The death of Papa Frank Joseph Maston of New England Settlement occurred Monday, July 4, 2016 Born in Minto, NB he was the son of the late Cecil and Nellie (Powers) Maston. PaPa was happiest when he was surrounded by his family sharing his great love of music. This passion for music was passed on to his grandchildren. Frank and the love of his life, Rita enjoyed nature and the outdoors through fishing, hunting, biking, swimming, campfires and gardening. Survived by his loving wife Rita (LeBlanc) Maston; a son, Rick (Kathy); daughters, Brenda Bostick (Albert) and Sherry Farrell (Wayne); 5 grandchildren, Brad (Mel), Amanda (Matt), Shawn, Katelyn and Christopher; 4 great grandchilden, Jackson, Rowan, Madison and Declan; chosen brother, Bill Powers(Jeannine); sister, Jean Colwell (Ernie); brothers in law, Andrew, Isaac (Audrey) Fedile (Carol), Earl (Dianne) and Junior (Helen); sisters in law, Mamie, Rose (Roger); many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, Papa was predeceased by a sister, Theresa; brothers in law, Tom Leblanc, John Leblanc, Gerald Leblanc; sister in law, Alice Cormier. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto) with visiting on Wednesday 4-8pm Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00AM Thursday, July 7, 2016 from Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Internment will take place in Saint Bridget’s Cemetery. For those who wish, donations made to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family.
