Obituary of Gerald Francis Lloyd

Gerald Francis Lloyd of Central NB nursing Home, Boiestown (formerly 109 Biggs Street, Fredericton and Chipman) passed away March 3rd, 2011 at the Nursing Home. Born in Chipman, NB, April 29th, 1937, he was the son of the late Cecilia and William Lloyd, and nephew of the late Walter Harrison. Predeceased by other aunts, uncles and cousins. Gerald was a graduate of Chipman Regional High School in 1956 from the Industrial Course. He furthered his education at New Brunswick Community College, Moncton completing the Carpenter Course. Gerald is survived by his first cousins Russell (Flora) Pollock, Chipman; Bernard Harrison, Pembroke, Ontario and second cousins. Being of the Catholic Faith, Gerald attended St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Chipman until he moved to Fredericton (1986) and attended the St. Dunstan’s Roman Catholic Parish. Visitation will be held at Hogg Funeral Services, (43 Main Street, Chipman, NB) Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00AM Monday, March 7th, 2011 from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Chipman. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chipman at a later date.
