Obituary of Alexander Morrison

The death of Alexander Morrison of Chipman, NB occurred Saturday, November 21st, 2009 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in Scotland, he was the son of the late Alexander and Elizabeth (Carle) Morrison. He is survived by his loving wife Evelyn (Smith) Morrison; a son, William (Irene) of Saint John; daughters, Sheila Bishop (Brent) of Fredericton, Edith McInnis (Donny) of Chipman, Patricia Hopkins (Willard) of Fredericton, Heather Fidler of Chipman, Theresa Morrison (Paul) of Chipman, 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Nancy Jardine of Fredericton, Mary Anne Talley (Mac) of Ontario; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Alexander was predeceased by a daughter, Jennifer Douglas; brothers, John and William Morrison. Resting at Grand Lake Community Chapel with visitation on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, November 24th, 2009 at the Chipman United Church with Rev. Kathi Zwicker officiating. Interment will take place in the Redbank United Church Cemetery. For those who wish donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Shriners or the Chipman United Church would be appreciated by the family. All comrades are invited to attend a Royal Canadian Legion tribute service at the funeral home 6:45 PM Monday evening.
