Obituary of Rosalie Mary Richard

Rosalie Mary (Savoie) Richard of Chipman NB passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer, at the W.G. Bishop Nursing Home, Minto, NB on Sunday, June 8th, 2008 at the age of 88. The last surviving member of her immediate family, Rosalie will be sadly missed by 4 sons, Ivan of Chipman NB, Albert (Cheryl) of Massachusetts, Roger (Joyce) of Massachusetts, Rene (Irene) of Minto; one daughter, Lena (Dave) Jarry of New Hampshire; daughter-in-law, Ella May Richard, 17 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, 2 great great grand children, nieces and nephews; special friends, Loretta Jarry of New Hampshire, Peggy Smith of Chipman and Bertha Saulnier of Bronson as well as her bingo buddies and her extended family, "the girls" at the Chipman Senior Citizens. She was predeceased by her parents, Jean and Elise Savoie, her husband Henry, son Oscar, daughter-in-law, Jean Richard, brothers and sisters. The family will receive visitors on Monday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the Grand Lake Community Chapel, 43 Main Street, Chipman. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 10th, 2008 at Saint Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Chipman with Father Peter Stephen officiating. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the W. G. Bishop Nursing Home would be greatly appreciated.
