Obituary of Iris Lee Miller

Iris Miller, daughter of Doreen (Betts) Davenport, got away on September 15th. Growing up the 60’s Iris embraced big hair, little bikinis and rocked both of them. Her love of hairspray may explain the issue with the ozone layer and would not be looked upon kindly by David Suzuki. As a young mother Iris was full of love and laughter and those are the memories that we will keep in our hearts. Her family includes children, Shauna (Tony Crawford) and Mike Miller (Krista Howland), partner Hollie Shirley, brothers Lloyd Tremblay (Terri-Lynn West) Jackie Tremblay (Geraldine Barton) and grandchildren Grayson and Jayme. Loved by many cousins. Peace at last, no one deserved it more. Thank you to the very kind staff at Hospice for their tender care of Iris. Her family will always be grateful. A graveside service will take place 6:30PM Wednesday, September 23rd, 2020 at the Newcastle Creek Cemetery, Extension, Newcastle Creek, NB. In keeping with COVID-19 restrictions, please wear a mask within the cemetery and respect social distancing.
