Obituary of Inez Ruth McMann

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Inez Ruth (Walker) McMann formerly of Newcastle Creek, NB. She passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Kiwanis Nursing Home in Sussex, NB on August 28, 2020. Born in Kiersteadville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Austin and Annie (Corbett) Walker. Survived by her daughter, Verna Sands of Sussex, NB, grandchildren; Mark Sands, Ronda Proctor (Bobby), Rona Kyle (Michael), Ronnie Morrison, Randy Morrison (Karen), Barry McMann (Susan), Sherri Hourihan (Dan); 15 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Inez was predeceased by her husband Murray McMann; sons, Robert and Earle McMann; daughter, Gloria Morrison; son in law, Clyde Sands; brother, John Walker; sisters; Jean Roberts, Hope Brown and June Cameron. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Hogg’s Funeral Home in Minto, NB with visitation being held at Minto Baptist Church on Tuesday, September 1 at 12:00, followed by the funeral service at 2:00. For those who wish to make a donation in Inez’s memory, the family has suggested the Kiwanis Nursing Home or the charity of the donor’s choice.
