Obituary of Calvin C. Mclean
Surrounded by the love of his family, Calvin Cecil McLean peacefully passed away at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on July 29, 2020.
Born in Coal Creek, NB he was the son of the late William and Ethel McLean.
Calvin’s heart was full when he was with his family. Any occasions were always celebrated with family, music, and food (his favorite). Calvin retired from NB Coal Ltd. And always was a hard worker. He started at a young age helping to take care of the farm with his 13 siblings.
He married the love of his life Ida. They had one daughter Tanya who has always been a daddy’s girl. Calvin has 2 grandchildren Teisha and Tanner, which he adored immensely.
Calvin could usually be seen at Tim’s as he loved to chat with everyone. He was fond of going to church concerts, plowing driveways, dances, tractors, trucks and anything mechanical. He was truly a jack of all trades.
Survived by his daughter Tanya (Colin) grandchildren Teisha and Tanner sisters; Bertha, Georgina, Muriel, Vivian, Junie,Effie brother; Charlie, Calvin had several special sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, cousins. And very wonderful friends.
In addition to his parents, Calvin was predeceased by brothers; Harold, Havelock, Lloyd, Weldon, sisters; Stella, Ida.

Private viewing and Funeral Services will be taking place.
For those who wish, donations made to the MEMS Breakfast Program would be appreciated by the family.
Public are welcome to attend the gravesite on Monday, Aug 3, 2020 at Holy Rosary Cemetery at 2:00PM
