Obituary of Rubena Agnes Cusack

Rubena Agnes Cusack (McLellan) ne Perry passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Monday June 29, 2015 with her only son Darrel at her side. Rubena was predeceased by her husbands, Rowen McLellan and Jack Cusack, her parents and siblings Sterling Perry (Hilda), Eldon Perry (Elsie), Talmage Perry (Eileen), Annie Morrison (John) & Phylis Lewis (Randolf). She is survived by her son Darrell and daughter-in-law Kathy, grandchildren Keri Coulson (Paul), Ian McLellan (Shianne) and Ashley McLellan (Nathalie) and great grandchildren Paige, Caleb, Abby, Riley, Nate, Genevieve and Liam and remaining sister Edna Forrest (Isaac). Rubena was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a tremendous worker and the gift of hospitality flourished in her home. She was a hairdress for many years in Newcastle Bridge. She loved to knit, sew and quilt and was a regular member of the ladies quilting group in Chipman. She was a devoted Christian and a member of Christian Life Center. She will be sadly missed by family and friends but they have the assurance that she is with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto) with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Service will take place 2:00PM Thursday, July 2, 2015 from Christian Life Center, Chipman, NB. Interment will take place in Full Gospel Cemetery, Minto, NB. For those who wish, donations made to the Full Gospel Cemetery, Minto, Bruce Melanson Scholarship fund or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
