Obituary of Melbourne Charles Purdy

The death of Melbourne Charles Purdy of Newcastle Creek, NB occurred Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital. Survived by his loving wife Nancy (McDonald) Purdy; daughters, Bonnie and Tara; stepchildren, Kirk (Stella), Freddy (September), Dale (Krystal) and Craig (April); several grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy, Roy and George (Sandy); sisters, Annie, Hilda, Donna and Betty; many nieces and nephews Predeceased by his parents; several brothers and sisters. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto) with visiting on Tuesday evening from 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from Minto Community Chapel. For those who wish, donations made to a living memorial in Mel’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
