Obituary of Antonetta Martina Maria Daamen Brown

The death of Antonetta Martina Maria (Netta) (Daamen) Brown of Hardwood Ridge, NB occurred Thursday, January 8, 2015 at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital. Born in Holland on June 21, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Antoon and Henrica (Hendriks) Daamen Survived by sons, Harold of Spruce Grove, AB and Peter (Tamara) of Fredericton, NB; daughters, Elizabeth Quigley of Noonan and Rhonda Hartjes of Oromocto; grandchildren, Kendall (Erika), Katie, Mathew (Sophie), Odessa and Liam; great grandson, Tatum Wellwood; brothers, Cornelius of Hardwood Ridge, NB Henry (Blanche) of Wuhrs Beach, NB Martin (Marion) of Saint John, NB Joe (Dody) of Newcastle Centre, NB Corrie (Annette) of Hardwood Ridge, NB Gerrit (Sheryl) of Hardwood Ridge; sisters, Theresa Arts of Scarborough, ON, Martina Steele of Fredericton, NB Annie Daamen (Alderic Gallant) of Moncon, NB and Christina Bosse of Hardwood Ridge, NB; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Netta was predeceased by her husband Alvin Harold Brown; a brother, Theodore Daamen; sister, Henrica (Ricky) VanDoren. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto) with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00AM Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
