Obituary of Annie Steeves

It is with mixed feeling of sadness and joy that we announce the passing of our mother Annie Steeves on Dec 1, 2014. She now is with our God in heaven and her husband and spiritual family. Born in Glace Bay, NS she was a coal miner’s daughter of the late Willis and Julie (Parson) Vators. Survived by a son Garry Steeves of Prince George, BC; daughters, Sharon Steeves of Fredericton, Bonnie Maston (Wayne) of Minto and Brenda LeBlance (John) of Minto; 5 grandchildren, Jason Savoy (Amy), Wayne Maston (Lindsey) , Jamie Savoy (Melanie), Jason Steeves and Jennifer Steeves; great grandchildren Brooklyn, Brody and Khloe; sisters, Geraldine Parsons (Melvin), Fern Jackson (David); brothers, Ralph Vaters (Bessie)and Clarence Vaters; many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family at Pine Grove. In addition to her parents, Annie was predeceased by her husband Donald Steeves; sons in law, Donnie Savoy and Joseph MacPhearson; sisters, Lillian Boyd and Viola Vaters. A private service will take place at a later date. For those who wish, donations made to the Pine Grove Nursing Home Fredericton, NB would be appreciated by the family.
