Obituary of Betty Pearl Palmer

The death of Betty Pearl Palmer of Minto, NB occurred on Tuesday, November 11th 2014 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, NB. Born in Newcastle Bridge, she was the daughter of the late Firman and Rebecca (Dykeman) Betts. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Otty Nash; brothers, Eldon, Harold, Goldie Betts and 3 infant brothers; sisters, Mary Gilbert and Eileen Smith. Betty is survived by sons, Stephen of Calgary, Cleveland of Toronto and David of Fredericton; daughters, Robin of Winnipeg and Judy of Halifax; 3 grandchildren, Christopher, Charles and Charlene; sisters, Norma Mazerolle of Minto, Jenny (Ronald) Thibodeau of Wuhrs Beach; brothers, Firman Jr. (Merna) Betts of Minto, NB and Gerald (Nancy) Betts of Minto, NB; as well as many nieces and nephews. Although there will be no visitation or funeral service, family and friends are invited to the home of sister Norma Mazerolle, 18 Summit Drive in Minto, NB on Saturday, November 15th, 2014 at 2:00PM. For those who wish, donations made to the Minto Elementary Middle School Breakfast Program would be appreciated by the family. The family would sincerely like to thank Dr. Hayter and the nursing staff of 4SE and 4SW at the Chalmers Regional Hospital.
