Obituary of Melvin Joseph Murphy

The passing of Melvin Joseph Murphy of Hardwood Ridge, NB occurred on Wednesday November 5, 2014 in Fredericton, NB. Born in Davis Mill, NB he was the son of the late Wilmot and Artheline (Rioux) Murphy. In addition to his parents, Melvin was predeceased by two sisters; Mable Ayotte and Evelyn Zakowski as well as two brothers; Winston and Allen Murphy. Melvin is survived by his loving wife, Claire (Babin) of Hardwood Ridge, NB a son, Ron (Joanne) of Beaverton, ON daughters, Barbara Mazerolle (Gary) of Hardwood Ridge, NB; Sue (Steve Whiteway)) of Oshawa, ON a brother, Ralph (Georgette) of Mississauga, ON sisters; Phyllis Forney of Elizabethville, PA Betty-Anne Wile-Kennedy (Eldred) of Cookstown, ON Violet Michaud (Normand) of Grand Falls, NB grandchildren, Crystal Murphy, David Mazerolle (Trish), Jade Murphy (Cody), Matthew Mazerolle (Laura), Chynna Murphy, Jeremy Mazerolle and Jewell Murphy and great grandchildren, Kayden, Caleb and Jaxson Mazerolle. Although there will be no visitation, a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11:00am from the Minto Community Chapel at Hogg Funeral Services with Father Paul Bebodu officiating.
