Obituary of Patricia Henderson Glenn

Surrounded by family at the time of her death, Patricia Henderson Glenn, wife of the late Earl Glenn, passed peacefully in the early hours of Tuesday, May 6, 2014. Patricia was born in Minto, on June 12, 1925, to the late Mark and Dorothy (Henderson) Connors. Throughout Patricia’s life, she was an active and much valued volunteer in her community. She was a life time member of the Auxiliary of the former Dr. H.M. Gardiner Hospital and Queens North Health Complex. In 1999, Patricia received the United Nations award for Volunteerism. A longtime resident of Sunnyside Beach, NB, Patricia greatly enjoyed time spent with her Bridge Club friends over the years. She also cherished her role as great-grandmother, always ensuring her freezer was well-stocked with ice cream treats. She is survived by her sons; Mark (Myrna) of Chipman, Brian (Ruth) of Sunnyside Beach and Gary (Beverly) of Chipman; her daughter: Brenda Wasson (Orland) of Central City, PA, USA; her sister: Jacqueline Holterman; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. Patricia was predeceased by her husband Earl Glenn, special friend John Foley and daughter Gayle Glenn. There is no visitation or service by request. A private family graveside service will be held at a later time. For those who wish, remembrances to the Queens North Health Care Auxiliary would be appreciated.
