Obituary of Patrick Joseph Legere

The death of Patrick Joseph Legere of Minto, NB occurred Thursday, February 20, 2014 at his home. Born in North Minto, NB he was the son of the late Luc and Marie (Richard) Legere Patrick was employed with the Saint John Ship Building Dry Docks as an Industrial Mechanic until his retirement. Survived by a son Donald Joseph (Debbie) of Saint John, NB; a daughter, Sharon LeBlanc (Donald) of Keswick, ON; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a brother, Aime Legere of Ottawa, ON; a sister, Lena Auger of Ottawa, ON; many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Patrick was predeceased by sisters, Margaret Petitpas, Anita Charron and Edmee Despres. The family would like to thank Dr. G. Haines and his wife Becky for the wonderful care given to Patrick, also to the Extra Mural Staff and Nurses Susan and Sherry, Services to Seniors and to a special family friend Aurore Lefrancois. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto, NB) with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pmFuneral Mass will be celebrated 11:00AM Thursday February 27th, 2014 from Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will take place in Saint Bridget’s Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, donations made to the MEMS breakfast program would be appreciated by the family.
