Obituary of Thomas Henry Ellis

The death of Thomas Henry Ellis of Minto, NB occurred Monday, January 20, 2014 at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital. Born in Rattleson, England January 22nd, 1922 he was the son of the late George and Mabel (Poole). Survived by son, John Ellis (Carol) of Saint John, NB; stepson, Russell Ganong of China; daughters, Sandra Chase (Neil) of Blacks Harbour, NB and Donna Bell (Doug) of Hampton, NB; step-daughters, Valerie Kennedy (Phillip) of Dartmouth, NS and Dianne Daigle (Sam) of Clarks Corner, NB; 16 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Tom was predeceased by his first wife Vera (Colwell)Ellis in 1972; second wife, Olga (Taylor) Ellis in 2003; brothers, Billy and Art; sisters, Carolyn and Edna. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto, NB) with visiting on Wednesday afternoon from 1-5pm. Funeral Service will take place 3:00PM Thursday, January 23rd, 2014 from Saint Michael and All Angel’s Anglican Church, Minto, NB.
