Obituary of Victor Joseph Roy
It is with great sadness that the family of Victor Joseph Roy announce his passing at his home on Saturday, November 9th, 2024.
Born on a warm August day, he was the son of the late Hector Roy and Alma LeBlanc.
Victor will be dearly missed by his nephews; Norman, Jackie (Maxine), Jerry (Lynn), Wayne (Jennifer); nieces, Jean (Mike) and Donna (Jim); Godchildren, Karla Smith and Melissa White; several extended family members and many friends.
Victor lived an honest and quiet life. He was a dedicated worker with 38 years of service at Eastland Industries before his retirement. He loved a good game of cards, listening to good music with friends and family and catching up on his favourite tv shows.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters; Anna Boucher, Ella Vautour and Janet Smith, as well as several extended family members.
In keeping with Victor’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Interment will take place at a later date.
For those who wish, and in lieu of flowers, contributions made to a charity of your choice in Victor’s memory is appreciated by his family.
