Obituary of Arthura Muriel MacBeth

Arthura Muriel MacBeth (October 10, 2024) 

Born Nov. 26, 1928 in Briggs Corner, N.B., Arthura was the second  child of Velma (Webber) and Freeman Thompson. In July, 1947, she  married Robert (Bob) MacBeth. They made their home in Chipman.  Over the years, she was a valued employee of Canada Post, Jardine’s  Grocery, DiCarlo’s and the Sussex Health Centre. She was an active  member of the Second Chipman United Baptist Church and the Orange  Lodge, and had served on the boards of the Chipman Public Library and  Chipman Outreach.  

Predeceased by her parents, husband, son Donald (Don) and siblings  Pearl, Edna, Lester, Carl, Sterling, Glenna and Gail. Survived by  children Gwen (Moncton), Mary (Sidney, B.C.) and David (Elizabeth)  (Chipman); grandchildren Michael, Nolan, Caitlin, Gillian, Ethan and  Keyan; great-grandchildren Ryan, Sean, Shyla, Oliver and Scarlett;  several cousins and numerous nieces and nephews.  

Visitation at Second Chipman United Baptist Church, 225 Main Street,  Chipman on Monday, October 14 from 10:00 - 12:00, followed by the  funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Chipman Second United  Baptist Church Cemetery on Maple Street, followed by reception at  the church Vestry.
