Obituary of Norman J. Vautour

The death of Norman J. Vautour of Minto, NB occurred Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital.

Born in Minto, NB he was the son of the late Telexphore and Obeline (Cormier) Vautour.

Norman cherished his family and enjoyed family gatherings. He was also a fan of the Montreal Canadiens, Red Sox, and Blue Jays. he was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Joanne (Chute) Vautour; sons Joseph (Yvonne) of Hampton, NB, Ronald (Kimberly) of Minto, NB and Jeffrey (Lana) of Moncton, NB;  grandchildren, Alysha, Shelby, Zachery, Samantha, Cody, Rachel, Aaron, Amy,  Alyssa andJayden; great grandchildren, Savanna, Jayce, Ava, Ben, Ryan, Chloe, Atticus, Sawyer, Celeste, Dea, Zyra, Malachi; brother, Gerald Vautour (Dot); several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Norman was predeceased by great granddaughter, Grace; brothers, Eddie, Ernest, Joey, Henry and Emery; sister, Ida McLean.

Special thanks to the Extra Mural Nurses Natalie and Kelsey that were so kind of Norman.

Resting at Hogg Funeral & Cremation Services (10 King Street, Minto) with visitation Friday evening from 6-8PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00AM Saturday, July 13, 2024 from Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will take place in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Minto, NB. For those who wish, donations made to the Grand Lake Minor Hockey Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
