She is survived by her daughters; Joan Ruthman Kallio (Bryan), Marlene Hilton Moore, Linda Lou McQuinn, her sister Helen Tabor and Merv’s children; Ross (Carol), Roger (Debra) and Rick (Beth). Nannie Kaye was cherished by her grandchildren; Todd, Neil, Steven, Cinda, Kim, Matt, Joe, Jordan, Allyson, Jennifer, Cara, and Merv’s grandchildren; Derek, Trevor, Gregory, Douglas, Siri, Scott, Rob, Krista, Jenny, Craig, Andrew, Barbara and Phillip.
She was predeceased by her husband Merv Brown, of 26 wonderful years, as well as her siblings; Gladys, Harold and Russell, her grandson Matthew, stepson Ralph, stepdaughter Wendy and step-grandson Scott. She will be profoundly missed by her family and friends.
She endeared herself to all she met with her kindness, caring, strength, and humour. There are not enough words to express our love for this exceptional woman and how she made everyone feel special through her care of them and her delight in them.
Family was everything to Kaye and she was extremely proud of her daughters and their families. She was also proud of her careers as secretary in the medical field in NB, for Stansbury Advertising in Montreal and as a sales representative for Orlane Cosmetics based in Toronto. She finished her career with great enjoyment working for the Decorator Shop in Fredericton.
Kaye also volunteered during her retirement years for the Scotchtown United Church Women, and the Hospital and Long Term Care Home in Minto, NB. She was especially honoured as a volunteer for the Canadian Cancer Society in Orleans, ON.
The family wishes to express their gratitude for the wonderful care of the Rockland Manor and St. Elizabeth’s Health Care staff.
