Obituary of Gail Lenna Knox
It is with profound sorrow that the family of Gail Knox announces her peaceful passing on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Hospice House in Fredericton after a short battle with cancer. Born in Hamilton, Ontario on November 9, 1956, Gail was the daughter of Arthur and Lenna (Davidson) Knox. She leaves behind her mother Lenna Knox, brother Steve Knox (Jeananne), niece Gloria King (Sonya), nephew Mark MacIntyre (Marsha), great-niece Taylor Gardner (Kyle), and great-great-niece Adeline Gardner. Gail is reunited in eternal peace with her husband Carlos, her father Arthur, and sister Bernice.
Gail possessed an unparalleled zest for life and an infectious laughter that illuminated every room she entered. Her joyous spirit, expressed through hearty laughter that radiated from her very being. She found solace and happiness in the warmth of the sun and the tranquility of sandy beaches, cultivating cherished memories from her travels both near and far. Gail's adventures abroad fueled her passion for exploration, a lifelong pursuit that brought her immeasurable joy.
Throughout her career in the computer industry, Gail exhibited unwavering dedication and enthusiasm for her work. As a Microsoft educator in Fredericton and across the province, she shared her expertise with boundless energy and commitment. Additionally, Gail found profound strength and solace in her faith, which remained a cornerstone of her life.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Gail's memory may be made to Hospice House of Fredericton. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Hospice House Fredericton for their exceptional care and support during Gail's final months.
In accordance with Gail's wishes, there will be no visitation or formal funeral service. Instead, a celebration of Gail's remarkable life will take place at a later date at the residence of Gloria and Sonya.
