Obituary of Flora Edna Atyeo

The death of Flora E. Atyeo of Maquapit Lake, NB occurred Friday, April 19, 2024 at her home.

Born in Fredericton, NB she was the daughter of the late Rupert and Ethel (Lunergan) Post.

First and foremost, Flora's greatest love was her family.  She loved to cook for them and was always planning family get togethers for supper.  She lit up when her great granddaughter, Josie-Cade Flora, came into the room.  Flora adored the lake, enjoying the quietness and beauty of it.  She found joy in her crafts and loved to dance.

Survived by her love Walter Atyeo; daughter, Cindy Nason (Blair); cherished grandsons, Travis (Taylor) and Matthew (Laura) and great granddaughter Josie-Cade Flora; sister, Robena Woodworth; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Flora was predeceased by a brother, Ralph Post; sisters, Vivian Greer and Laura Young.

A graveside service will take place in Ripples Community Cemetery 1:00PM Monday, April 22, 2024 and a reception will follow at the Douglas Harbour Community Center.  For those who wish, donations may be made to the donor's choice or the MMHS Breakfast Program.
