Was shocked to hear from Fred Richard yesterday that Sharon had passed - Very sad that there will be no tomorrows to plan another reunion - we had so many for class & girls at the Lake - She would always be at the top of our list - she spelled fun - My lesson when turning 80 is don't wait to reach out - Verley, Wendell, Helen - always visited when at the lake and Sharon was usually there - Another part of my history fading away & makes me so sad I am Minto gal #33 RIP old friend Sharon

Mark, Rick, Connie and Muriel;
Sharon and I go way back to our school days. We graduated together and had the best of fun. I had stayed many a nights with her. Now living in Chipman, I couldn't see her as much as I would have liked to but always made it a point to visit when I paid my visa. Love You Sharon

To Rick and Mark.
My visual memory of your mother was watching her figure skate. She was in grade five. Barbra Anne Scott was the top skater at the time. We spoke at a school reunion a few years ago. I mentioned skating and she said she was Barbra Anne Scott. She never missed a beat..What I know now, had she lived in Toronto or Ottawa at the time she would have been on the National Team.
May she rest in peace.

Doug and I were saddened to hear of Sharon’s passing. Our sincere condolences go out to her family. When we retired in Minto in 1990, I became acquainted with Sharon and enjoyed our friendship for over 30 years.. She continued to keep in touch with phone calls and Minto updates even after we moved to Oromocto. We will really miss her.

Mark, Ricky & Families:
So sorry to hear of Sharon's passing. She was definitely one of a kind in the very best of ways. Her humor and quick wit never failed to make any conversation with her memorable. I may have been using some creative vocubulary myself one day and Mom laughed and said that if Sharon & Gwen had ever had a child it would be me.
I'll try to do her proud lol

To her family and many friends who knew and loved her, you are all in our thoughts and prayers. I enjoyed talking to her at our campsite in summer. She had a wonderful 'Spicy' attitude that I loved and will miss.

Sending sincere condolences. So sorry for your sudden loss. Enjoyed reading your mom’s eulogy. Your mom might have had creative vocabulary and her opinions but you always knew where you stood with your mom, she was honest. My mom, Kathryn Chapman, and her had so much fun over the years, especially when Mom and Jim and Sharon and Arnold got together. They had many adventures, lol. I have mom’s pictures to prove it lol. And when Jim passed away, your mom called my mom every night for a long time. She was good to mom. I had the opportunity to have many conversations with your mom. She was so easy to talk to. Mom will be happy to see her. So sorry for your loss.

Sharon was an icon, her personality and opinions always made me laugh. I always enjoyed picking up the mail and greeted by her smile. She always took that extra time to ask how school was and how mom was. A few months before mom passed they met at the dollar store and their conversation was priceless. A few choice words were spoken. Mark and Rick so sorry for your loss if there is anything I can do please reach out.

Where would one start to describe a friendship with Sharon Welton? She was one of the funniest people I have ever known. No matter where you were or what was going on, Sharon was....Sharon. After having lived at Wuhr's Beach, Sharon was always a fond memory for me. I had a smile on my face every time I saw her. May she rest in peace. Condolences to her family. With her finger pointing, I can hear her say "And that's just the way it is!" God bless all.
