Obituary of Terrance Gordon Buchanan

The death of Terrance “Terry” Gordon Buchanan of Tay Creek, NB occurred Friday, July 21, 2023 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital.

Born in Stanley, NB he was the son of the late John and Pearl ((MacKinnon) Buchanan.

Terry’s love of horses turned into his dream job as a teamster at King’s Landing. He loved horse pulling and woods work. 

Survived by his loving wife, Shirley (Clowater) Buchanan; a son, Andrew (Mendy) of Fredericton; a daughter, Wanda Hamilton (Jerry); 9 grandchildren, Taylor Merrill, Alexa Merrill, Skyler Munn, Gavin Munn, Tiffany Buchanan, Dustin Buchanan, Jake McLean, Marsha Wall and Marley McLean; a brother, Thomas Buchanan; canine buddies, Buddy and Casey; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Terry was predeceased by a sister, Carol Buchanan.

In keeping with Terry’s wishes, service details will be announced at a later date. For those who wish, donations made to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
