Obituary of Richard Taylor Morell

We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Richard Taylor Morell of Minto, NB on Monday, March 20, 2023 at the St John Regional Hospital.

Richard (Rick) recently returned home after more than 5 decades of personal and professional triumphs in Ontario - as co-founder and owner of Mailcrafters Canada Inc. - as a Very Worshipful Brother and Past Master of the King Hiram Lodge #566 - and as a devoted provider and guardian, the embodiment of a true family man.

Survived by daughter, Michelle DiTomaso (Jason); son, Frank Morell (Nikki); 3 grandchildren, Riley, Jordan and John-Ryan; brother Alton Morell; sisters, Janet Drost (Calvin), Ruth Drost-Barton and Mary Scribner; many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by his wife of more than 50 years Frances Anne (Lindsay) Morell in 2020; brother, Hugh Morell; sister, Roberta Kilfillen

A Celebration of Life will take place 4:00PM Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 12 in Minto, NB. For those who wish, donations made to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
