Obituary of Robert (Robbie) Douglas McAleer

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Robert (Robbie) Douglas McAleer of
Geary announces his sudden passing on October 14, 2022. He was born August
10, 1972 in Oromocto, he was the beloved son of Douglas (Skip) and Brenda
(Doak) McAleer of Geary, NB.

He was a loving husband, soul mate and best friend to Patricia (Carr) McAleer for
22 years. Robbie was a devoted father to his cherished daughters Natalie Daigle
(Jean-Luc) of Geary, Alysha (Josh) of Fredericton Junction and to his much-loved
son Ryan of Geary. He was a loving Grampy to Jennessa-Lynn who was the light of
his life. Robbie was loved by many especially his two sisters Wanda Hussey of
Waterville and Belinda McFawn (Bryan) of Charters Settlement. He leaves behind
many nieces, nephews, and other family members whom he loved dearly,
especially his two dogs Buck and Buddy, a man’s best friend.

He spent a lot of time at the McAleer property in South Branch visiting his aunts,
especially Aunt Evelyn McAleer who always held a special place in his heart and
he was the light in her eyes, he could do no wrong. He was an avid outdoorsman
who enjoyed camping with his family. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting with his
father, wife Patricia, son Ryan, daughter Alysha and a very special nephew
Michael Hussey.

We love you very much and will miss you dearly.

The family will receive visitors at the Geary United Pentecostal Church, 4 Lauvina
Road, Geary, NB on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 12:00 – 1:30 pm. The
service will follow at 2:00 pm officiated by Rev. Lloyd Taylor. Interment will take
place at South Oromocto Lake Road Cemetery, Wirral, NB. In lieu of flowers
donations can be made to the Geary United Pentecostal Church.
