Obituary of Rene Joseph Richard

The death of Rene J. Richard of Minto, NB occurred Monday, October 3, 2022 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital.

Rene was the son of the late Henry and Rosalie (Savoie) Richard.

Rene was a lifelong lumberjack and loved the woods. He loved hunting, fishing, catching rabbits, puzzle books, scratch bingo tickets, playing TV bingo, watching utube video with his honey, loved watching wrestling, UFC Fighting, swamp people with his son and ridiculousness,loved going for walks going out for drives, western movies and christmas movies with his honey Irene, loved joking around with people, Rene loved to cook and his favorite thing to cook was chicken and chicken stew. Rene was a goodman he took very good care of his loves Irene and Stephen. a big thank you to my brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Carol Cormier for the beautiful gift  for Rene, he would love it.

Survived by his loving wife, Irene (Cormier) Richard; a son, Stephen Richard; daughter, Tammy Daigle; granddaughter, Amber Richard; brothers, Ivan, Albert (Cheryl) and Roger (Joyce); a sister, Lena Jarry; several nieces, nephews and cousins; special brothers-in-law, Camille and Paul Cormier.

A huge thank you goes out to Ambulance NB, RCMP and Minto Fire Department with a special thank you to Michael Doucette for being by my side.

In addition to his parents, Rene was predeceased by a brother, Oscar Richard

Funeral Service will take place 11:00AM Thursday, October 13, 2022 from Minto Community Chapel (10 King Street, Minto, NB). Interment will take place in Saint Joseph’s Cemetery, Chipman, NB.
