Obituary of Marven Earl Smith

It is with heavy heart we announce the passing of Marven Earl Smith of Maquapit Lake, NB on Monday, April 18, 2022.

Surrounded by his 3 fav girls at home. Loving wife of 50 years Carmelita Ann (Jones); Daughters, Dreama Ann (Amanda) and Emily Ann.

Marven was born in Lakeville Corner, NB on July 26, 1951.  He was the son of the late Albert and Peggy (Atyeo) Smith.

Marven was a hardworking loving husband, father and friend. Those who knew Marven knew how much he cared for his family. After working independently for 30 plus years you could always find Marven on a Friday Night with the Captain in hand waving to beeping friends as they went by.

Survived by brothers, Merlyn (Jean), Alfred, David (Judy), and Peter (Diana); sisters, Alberta Murphy (Glenn), Lori Cudmore (Glenn) and Carolyn Carr (Brett); working buddy Byard Bridges; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Marven was predeceased by special son, Earl Smith; brothers, Benson and Brian.

We the family would like to thank Natalie Maston from the Extra Mural Program for the care and support provided to Marven and our Nurse Emily Ann.

A graveside service will take place 6PM Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the Byno Cemetery, Lakeville Corner, NB.  For those who wish, donations made to the Byno Cemetery, Lakeville Corner, NB would be appreciated by the family.
