Obituary of Janine Ruth Gibb

Janine went to be with God on January 21st, 2016 at her home in Moncton. She was the beloved daughter of Michael & Annette (Hasselman) Gibb. A loving sister to Jennifer Gibb of Moncton and a loving aunt to Alexis Duguay of Moncton. Janine’s beautiful soul came to us on July 19, 1975. She was a joy to her family. Her laugh was contagious. Janine was employed at Roger’s Communication of Moncton. Besides her immediate family she leaves behind several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. She also leaves behind many friends and co-workers who grew to love her kind and gentle spirit. She had a special bond with her family. This cannot be broken. She also leaves a special friend John Collette, pets, Saphy, Bijoux and Moose. Janine was predeceased by both sets of grandparents; Fred and Florence (Billett) Gibb and Louie and Exelda (LeBlanc) Hasselman. Also predeceased by aunts, Elsie Boyne and Mary Arbeau, Uncle, Raymond Hasselman and cousin, Sherri Cusack. Janine’s last day was that she was very upbeat. It was spent with her sister, Jennifer and texting her mom & dad. She left this world secure in our love for her. Funeral arrangements are in the compassionate hands of Hogg Funeral Services (43 Main Street, Chipman). Visitation on Monday from 12-2PM on the 25th of January at Hogg Funeral Chapel (service 2PM) In lieu of flowers, donations may go to the Moncton SPCA or NB Heart and Stroke foundation or the charity of the donor’s choice. Interment to take place in the spring.
