Obituary of Jean Helena Maston

The death of Jean Helena Maston of Minto, NB occurred Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the W. G. Bishop Nursing Home. Born in Picketts Cove, NB she was the daughter of the late Roy and Blanche (Wiggins) Doherty. Survived by sons, David (Gerrie), Wayne (Bonnie), Brian (Elizabeth), Gary (Shelly) and Rodney (Brenda); daughter, Wanda Goguen (Maurice); 16 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; sister, Marlene Mercer (David); many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Jean was predeceased by her husband, Douglas Maston; sons, Donnie and Roy Maston; brother, Ralph Doherty; sisters, Beulah Rae Doherty, Roberta MacAuley, Bernice Grear; best friend, Simon Petitpas. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto) with visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Service will take place 2:00PM Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from the Trinity United Church, Minto. Interment will take place in Young’s Cove United Church Cemetery.
