Obituary of Wayne Frederick Thompson

The death of Wayne Frederick Thompson of Maquapit Lake, NB occurred Thursday, May 16th, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in New Zion, NB he was the son of the late James and Jessie (Rogers) Thompson. Survived by daughters,Leigh Ann Thompson (Tony),Susan Thompson (John);step - children, Scott Elliott and Carla Drisdelle (Melvin); brother Ellis Thompson (Margaret); sisters, Sandra Keilty (Bob) and Linda Kilfillen (Jeff); grandchildren, Michael and Peggy Sue Fleiger, Melanie Savoie, Jessie and Coleen McKay; great grandchildren, Oliva and MJ Youssef, Brooklyn, Chole and Jayden Savoie, Sheldby and Grace Cook, Adalynn Legge-McKay; many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Wayne was predeceased by his wife, Sharon (Hawkes) Elliott – Thompson; a sister, Myrna Ackerson; stepson, Wayne Elliott. Resting at Hogg Funeral & Cremation Services with visitation at 1:00pm. Followed by Funeral Service at 2:00PM Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from Minto Community Chapel (10 King Street, Minto). Interment will take place in the Byno Cemetery, Lakeville Corner, NB. For those who wish, donations made to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Following committal a, reception will be held at Four Lakes Seniors Club.
