Obituary of A. Gordon Anderson

A. Gordon Anderson, Minto, N.B., husband of Gail (Kennedy) Anderson, passed away peacefully at the DECH Cardiac Care Unit on May 5, 2019. Born January 6, 1938, son of the late James & Olive (Barton) Anderson. Survived by his children Jamie (Darlene); Pam (Dave); Keith (Brandi) and Monica (Paul); step-children Trudy (Ron); Cynthia; Jeremy (Kristin), 9 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren. Also by 2 brothers-in-law; 4 sisters-in-law, mother-in-law Maxine, nieces, nephews, cousins, and his precious fur babies, Smokie and Callie. Predeceased by his parents; brothers-Ross and Darrell, sister – Norma (late Neal), father-in-law – Lowell and step-grandson Andrew. Special thanks to Dr. S. Morrissy, Dr. G. MacDonald, DECH Doctors, Nurses & Staff, Extra Mural Services; Minto’s Services – Health Clinic, Shopper’s Pharmacy, ANB, and Services for Seniors. In keeping with Gordon’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the Oromocto SPCA would be appreciated.
