Obituary of Mary Amelia Cannon

The death of Mary Amelia “Sally” Cannon of Minto, NB occurred Friday, March 22, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in Duvar, PEI she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Amelia (Bodechon) Gallant. Survived by children, Margaret (Donnie), Lois (Joe), Brenda (Bob), Reg (Bonnie) and Dean (Chris); 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; siblings, Victoria Walsh (Bobby), Marcie Matthews (Wayne), Juliet Miscich (Arnold), Ralph Jr. Gallant, Lorinda Bonnell (Jimmy), Kathy Hogan (Bruce), Colleen Maclean (Darrell), Darlene Gallant (Joseph), Janet Keough (Chris), Stephen and Lisa Jenkins (Lawrence); many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Sally was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Cyril Cannon; brother, Louis Gallant; sister, Irene Betts. Grandchildren/Pallbearers, Adam Spencer, Shelby Spencer, Cody Richard, Shyanne Richard, Chad Kelly, Melissa Kelly, Jodie Clark, Dylan Barton and Corey Petitpas. A family & friends gathering will be held 12:00noon Saturday, March 30, 2019 from Hogg Funeral and Cremation Services (10 King Street, Minto) Funeral Service will follow at 1:00PM from Minto Community Chapel. Interment will take place at a later date in Bloomfield, PEI For those who wish, donations made to the MEMS Breakfast Program would be appreciated by the family.
