Obituary of Margaret Smith

The death of Margaret Smith of Minto, NB occurred Friday, February 15, 2019 at the North Minto Seniors Residence. Born in Plaster Rock, NB she was the daughter of the late Captain Lee and Elsie (Cotrell) Stickles. Survived by a son, Jack Smith (Bette); son-in-law, Keith Hoyt; grandchildren, Hannah, Hilary, Ben and Dianna; great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Marcus, Kristin, Emily, Phillip, Waylon and Reece; sisters, Connie Estabrooks and Elsie Perry; brother, Dr. Lee Stickles; many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Harry Smith; daughter, Gail Hoyt; infant daughter, Nancy Smith; brother, John Stickles; sisters, Dorothy and Shirley. In keeping with Margaret’s wishes, no visitation. Funeral Service will be held 11:00AM Monday, February 18, 2019 from the Trinity United Church. Interment will take place in Wallbridge Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, donations made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
