Obituary of Alan James William Piper

The death of Alan J. W. Piper of Minto, NB occurred Sunday, December 30, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in Minto, NB he was the son of the late Charles and Phyllis (Harben) Piper. Survived by his wife Betty (Shirley) Piper; stepson, John Shirley; stepdaughters, Laura Shirley and Ann Marie Dunphy; grandchildren, Darby and Riley; sister, Charlene Thorhauge (Rolf); brothers, Derek (Terry) and Gordon Piper; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Alan was predeceased by a sister, June Piper. A celebration of Alan’s life will take place 1:00PM June 1st, 2019 from Minto Community Chapel (10 King Street, Minto). For those who wish, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or W G Bishop Nursing Home would be appreciated by the family.
