Obituary of Marguerite Elaine Power

The death of Marguerite Elaine Power of Minto, NB occurred August 7, 2018 at her home. Born in Minto, NB she was the daughter of the late Elery and Alice (London) Barton. Survived by sons, Patrick (Charlotte) of Dartmouth, Dan of LePreau and Mark (Nancy) of Rothesay; daughter, Lynn of Dartmouth; 9 grandchildren, Jillian, Alex, Ben, Noah, Jacob, Abby, Olivia, Grace and Taylor; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Marguerite was predeceased by her husband, Luke Samuel Goldwyn Power; brothers, Angus, Russell, Murray and Arthur Barton; sisters, Freda Forrester and Annie Harding. Resting at Hogg Funeral Service (10 King Street, Minto) with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00AM Saturday, August 11, 2018 from Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will take place in Saint Bridget’s Cemetery, Hardwood Ridge, NB. For those who wish, donations made to the NB Heart and Stroke or JDRF would be appreciated by the family.
