Obituary of David W. Morrell

The death of David W. Morrell of Minto, NB occurred Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital. Born in Alberton, PEI he was the son of the late Leonard and Gertrude (Smith) Morrell. Survived by his loving wife, Marlene (Graves) Morrell; daughters, Carla Morrell- Miller (Glen); Cheryl Morrell, Kim Blyth (Barry) and Sandra Fraser (Chris); sons, David (Shelley) and Kevin (Karen); 14 grandchildren, including 2 very special grandsons Cole and Ryan Miller; several great grandchildren; brothers, Bill, Eugene(Barb), Blair, Lorne (Jane), Sydney, Robert (Taryn) and Perry (Mary); many nieces, nephews and a Papa to many hockey kids. In addition to his parents, Dave was predeceased by twin brothers, Gary and Gordon, a brother, Donnie. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto) with visiting on Thursday from 5-7pm. Funeral Service will take place 2:00PM Friday, August 18, 2017 from Christian Community Church. Interment will take place in Full Gospel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Grand Lake Minor Hockey or the MEMS Breakfast program would be appreciated by the family.
