Obituary of Jean Bernice Lawson
The death of Jean Bernice Lawson of Upper Salmon Creek, NB occurred Friday, July 14, 2017 at the Oromocto Public Hospital.
Born in Briggs Corner, NB she was the daughter of the late Burbage and Eileen (Glenn) Bishop.
Survived by a son, George Lawson (Elvina) of Hardwood Ridge; daughters, Nancy Drost (Derrick) of Briggs Corner and Karen Keddy (Tim) of Saint John; 7 grandchildren, Rhonda, Katie, (Dan) Shelby (Bruce), Emma (Curtis), Carrie, Alex and Terry; great grandchildren; Kasey, Logan and Jackson; brother, Terry Bishop (Susan) of Briggs Corner; sister, Donna Hargrove (Clifford) of Petitcodiac; mother in law, Johanna Lawson; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Jean was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Lawson in 2014; sister, Freda; infant sister, Nancy; infant brother, Glenn; 2 stillborn brothers.
Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (43 Main Street, Chipman) with visitation Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Service will take place 2:00PM Sunday, July 16, 2017 from First Chipman United Baptist Church, Gaspereau Forks, NB. For those who wish, donations made to the First Chipman United Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family.
