Obituary of Anna Margaret Pitre

With her family by her side the passing of Anna Margaret Pitre of Minto, NB occurred Wednesday, May 03, 2017 at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital. Born in Minto, NB she was the daughter of Jean (Lavoie) Doucette and the late Andrew Doucette. An avid gardener who loved flowers and gardening which gave her peace and joy. Survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Angus Pitre; a son, Tim Pitre (Terran); daughters, Melanie Doucette (Nicole) and Nicole Bailey (Jerry); grandchildren, Josh and Matthew Pitre, William and Avery Bailey; a brother, Claude Doucette; sister, Andrea Doucette; special sister , Gloria Doucette; Furry long eared friend, Stewart; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her father, Anna was predeceased by brothers, Alfred and Leo. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the nurses at the oncology unit, palliative care unit at the Chalmers Hospital along with the extra mural nurses, and Doctor Debra Gowen for their support in her final days. In keeping with Anna’s wishes, no visitation or Funeral Service. For those who wish, donations made to the Minto Community Youth Center would be appreciated by the family.
