Obituary of Robert Patrick Williston

Mr. Robert Patrick Williston, of Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the age of 72. Born in Newcastle, NB he was the son of the late George and Florence (Graham) Williston. He was a Long Shore man and a member of the United Church He is survived by his former wife Rita Williston, His daughters Theresa Williston of Miramichi and Stacey Doak of Geary, NB; his sons, Jonathan Williston of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Matthew Williston of Miramichi, David Williston (Joli) of Minto and Keith Williston of Ludlow, his sisters, Dorothy (Dottie) Kerr of Saint John and Mary Todd of Toronto, Ontario, his brother, George (Buddy) Williston of Miramichi and 9 grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters Peggy, Dale and Gladys. Mr. Robert Patrick Williston is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy with visitation on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 12 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 2PM at Davidson’s Funeral Home Chapel with David Williston officiating. Burial will be in the family lot of the Miramichi Cemetery at a later date. In his memory, donations to the ALS Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
