Obituary of Lena Bishop

The death of Lena Bishop of Minto occurred Friday, April 14, 2017 at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital. Born in Minto, NB she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Alma LeBlanc. Survived by sons, Paul (Shirley), Stephen (Cathy) and Michael (Beverley) all of Minto and Mark (Patti) of McNamee, NB; a daughter, Brenda McCoy of Fredericton; grandchildren, Amy (Robbie), Amanda, Johnathon, Curby Bishop (Teena) and Holly Hornez; a sister, Diane Hudson of Waltham, Mass; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Lena was predeceased by her husband, Allison Bishop; brother, Laurie LeBlanc; sisters, Stella McRae and Loretta McTiernan. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto) with visiting on Monday evening from 6-8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00AM Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will take place in Saint Bridget’s Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, donations made to a local charity would be appreciated by the family.
