Obituary of Allen Russell Wuhr

It is with great sadness that the family of Allen Russell Wuhr announce his passing on March 12, 2017. He peacefully passed with his family by his side at the DECH. Allen is survived by his loving wife Linda, son Blake (Xuan) and daughter Kyla, grandchildren Abigail, Kinleigh, Karlyn and Reid, sister Helen, many nieces and nephews, cousins and good friends especially his long time childhood friend David Wasson. In addition to his parents (Winnie and Louis), Allen was predeceased by an infant brother (Louis), and brother Charlie. Allen worked as an electrician at NB Power for 35 years but thoroughly enjoyed the past 11 years of retirement doing the things he loved best which included hunting, fishing, woodworking but most of all, spending time at the cottage with family and friends. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of ICU, 4SE and the palliative care unit at the DECH. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 5pm-8pm at Hogg Funeral & Cremation Services (10 King Street, Minto). Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with reception to follow at Holy Rosary Hall. Donations in memory of Allen may be made to the Minto Public Library or the Minto Youth Centre.
